I'm so excited to share my good news...I have a new job teaching in my hometown!!!!!!!!! Yeah!!! No more drive!!!! :) I will be 4 min away from home and 3 blocks from Daniel. I'm so excited. Daniel is 7 months old...my how time flies. He is working on more teeth. Two more top teeth are trying to make there appearance.
He is eating about a jar and a half of baby food each night. He is still a vegetable man, but is starting to like a few fruits. He loves peas, carrots, and green beans. He will eat applesauce, peaches and bananas. His Papa really wants him to like watermelon, but right now that's a no. He tries really hard to get away from it. Well all for now.

I just wanted to post a few pics of Daniel.

Okay the first is not Daniel. That's socks our cat. He likes Daniel's things. He like to get in Daniel's things. For a long time he would sleep in Daniel's high chair. Now that Daniel is using his high chair, Socks won't sit in it. I guess baby food stinks to cats. :)
This is Daniel's pout!
Here's Daniel about 5 seconds later....
This is Daniel in Daddy's hat.
Here is Daniel in his rocking chair. A very special friend gave us this rocking chair!! Thanks Mrs. Linda!!!!!

We went for Daniel's shots on Wednesday. He is 20 lbs and 6 oz and 29 1/4 inches long. We needed our six month shots. Last time at our 4 month they were out of the Hib. This time they were out of it too. They had plenty of shots for Sooner Care patients, but none for insured. Now don't get me wrong, I am all for kids getting everything they need no matter what choices their parents make. I think it's great that we have Sooner Care. But why are they "punishing" those with insurance. Daniel was already 2 months behind. We could choose to continue getting behind in hopes that the clinic would get more shots (by the way, my Dr. was very upset with the situation) or we could go to the Health Department and get his Hib. We chose to go to the Health Department. Poor Daniel had to go through the shot process again. Sometimes it seems that you are punished for doing things right. It just gripes me.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Daniel is sitting up. He has six teeth, four on top and two on bottom. He enjoys carrots, green beans, applesauce, and is starting to eat squash. He loves to eat! He is starting to talk more and can almost say Mama! Scott and I are very happy parents!

Here is a posed pic of Daniel in the beautiful handmade wood crib that my Grandpa made. He wasn't very happy here, but he loved his crib. Thank you Great-Grandpa.
Here is a newer picture of Daniel. You can see his bottom teeth. He is a very happy boy!
THis is one of my favorite pics. Behind my sleeping baby is a quilt that one of the sweet ladies at church made for Daniel. We have so many beautiful quilts.
Here is Daddy and Daniel reading before bed. They are reading Daddy's favorite book.
Daniel's Great-Aunt Linda got him these great froggie slippers. Aren't they cute!!!

This is Daniel in the nursery. He had fluid on his lungs so he had to stay hooked up to the O2 sensor for quite a while.
This is our first family pick on Christmas Eve. Daniel is wearing his First Christmas sleep sack. Thanks Auntie Brie.
